Infrastructure Support
For decades, U.S. Facilities has been managing major infrastructure projects for our clients.
As an example, we manage, operate and maintain a significant portion of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway that includes 78.8 miles of navigable canals and waterways, 3,197 acres of improved land, 37 buildings, two canals, three navigation locks, three water control spillways and four highway drawbridges. We also maintain all real property, grounds, and equipment; perform preventative maintenance on bridge equipment; remove snow; fabricate replacement parts as required; maintain vehicles; manage utilities; oversee boat operations; provide custodial services, and utilities/payment maintenance.
We also manage and maintain movable bridges located throughout southern Virginia.
We plan, organize, coordinate, and schedule all bridge operations and specified maintenance actions, and have complete responsibility for drawbridge operations services on a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year basis. We also provide preventive maintenance and repair, maintenance for project vehicles, custodial and related services, and ongoing inspection of all bridge and associated operating equipment and systems.
