Facility Management

We serve customers in many sectors, including commercial, industrial, institutional, pharmaceutical, educational, and government.

Our core services are rooted in Facility Management, where we sustain peak efficiency in our customers’ facilities while we maintain safety and comfort for tenants.

Our integrated programs like preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, environmental health and safety, life cycle asset management, and indoor air quality – in conjunction with critical support functions that include help desk and call centers, cost management, and work order processing are fundamental to delivering high quality services that are safe, on time, and cost effective.

In addition to our core self-performed management capability, we can scale to our clients’ needs through our subcontract management process.

We do this through USF’s Supply Chain Management, where suppliers are qualified and understand our company’s commitment to the clients’ mission and goals in managing their FM Portfolio.

Services we procure through subcontract management include janitorial services, landscaping and grounds maintenance, elevator maintenance, and fire/life safety systems maintenance, and others.

Under existing facility management contracts, USF also manages “design-build” task orders and construction contracts.

Some task orders that have benefited our current customers include:
  • Designing and installing: A rooftop solar system to heat water for a 3000 bed correctional facility. A major emergency generator substation for a cabinet level office building in Washington, DC.
  • Energy and infrastructure assessment of a major pharmaceutical facility in central Pennsylvania, significantly reducing their energy usage and cost.
